" I'm so sorry for the loss of your Mom. Her beautiful picture brought back a lot of great memories. I'll never forget the time she crashed our Halloween party dressed as a soldier, wearing eye magnifying glasses! What a hoot! She was a very special part of my childhood that I'll never forget. My husband also lives at MCH; Hope 4. He's been sick for eight years, at MCH for four years. It's a wonderful place. If I had known, I would have stopped in to say hello. God bless you all, my love and prayers. Sandy {Ransom} McConnell"

"EVERYTIME I GOT OFF THE ELEVATOR TO VISIT MY SISTER I WENT PAST MARTHA'S ROOM. I WOULD POP IN TO SAY HELLO AND WE WOULD VISIT. MARTHA WAS A PART OF OUR FAMILY SINCE WE MET HER SEVEN YEARS AGO. SHE WAS SUCH A CLASSY LADY AND OH SO WISE...... I LOVED SITTING BESIDE HER AT MEALS AS I FED MY SISTER. WE WOULD LAUGH AND HAVE SO MUCH FUN. THERE NEVER WAS A DULL MOMENT AS WE CARRIED ON WITH SILLINESS. MARTHA SHARED SO MANY STORIES ABOUT HER FAMILY AS WE SAT AROUND THE TABLE EATING. HER FAMILY MEANT THE WORLD TO HER. WE WILL MISS HER. OUR WHOLE FAMILY LOVED MARTHA AND HER FAMILY. WE WILL MISS HER. "
