History

Fred attended the Academy of Aeronautics at Long Island University. Following his education, he spent 20 years with the Boeing Co, Sikorsky Aircraft Grumman Corporation. Fred was engaged in destructive and non-destructive testing of flight hardware, including Lunar Module Landing Gear Flight Crew Restraint Hardware. The next 20 years was spent at the Dayton T. Brown Company, designing and building computer aided hydraulic test stands which allowed fully automated "hands-off" testing of hydraulic flight hardware. This included pumps, motors, linear activators valves. Many cross country flights to Air Force and Navy bases, including aircraft carriers to deliver/commission/train personnel on the proper care and feeding of flight component hardware. Fred enjoyed golf, reading gardening. The following statements could describe Fred: Life is great - Most predictions do become reality - Philosophical discussions are limited to those who will discuss, but not argue. Fred will be remembered as a loving husband one who cared deeply for his family friends.

Services

Visitation Tuesday 5PM until 8PM. Fred`s Funeral Service will be held 10AM on Wednesday at Hope Church, 1301 Vintage Lane. Entombment Riverside Cemetery.
