Survived by his wife of 58 years Josephine "Jo" DeCillis D`Ettore; children, Jacqueline D`Ettore, David (Suzanne) D`Ettore, Richard (Linda) D`Ettore, Bob (Linda) D`Ettore; grandchildren, Alison D`Ettore, Jonathan D`Ettore, Nicole D`Ettore, Christina D`Ettore, Robbie D`Ettore Alex D`Ettore; several nieces, nephews, aunt and cousins.



History

Al received the Purple Heart while serving his country during World War II. He was a member for 30 years of ITAM. AL was a Tool Die Worker for Gleason Works.

Services

BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc., 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.) where Al`s visitation will be Tuesday, July 6, 2-4 7-9. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, July 7, 9:30 AM at Holy Apostles Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.



Additional Information

Al was most passionate about his family. He enjoyed family gatherings of all kinds. He was also very active coaching different sports that his children participated in. Al was an avid sportsman, he enjoyed wathcing and playing different sports, especially baseball and golf. He was an avid Yankees fan. Al was an unassuming man, quiet, supportive and he always had a sense of humor. His gracious personality played apart in all people who met him taking a liking to him. Al`s family would like to express their gratitude to all the caregivers at St. Ann`s Home.
