Her children Scott A. La Bounty, Renee M.(Anthony S.) Ange, Odette T.(David A.) Nielsen and Cheri A.(Jeffrey) Levine; grandchildren London L. Nielsen, Tessa T. Nielsen and Edward(Ted) L. Levine; sister Lois I. Carr; Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



History

As a young lady Arlene enjoyed skating and horseback riding. After graduating from high school, Arlene worked as an operator at the Rochester Telephone Company. She was married to Halsey A. La Bounty for 44 years. She raised five children and was an active member of the Sacred Heart Cathedral Home School Association and the Maplewood Neighborhood Association. She was very interested in local and national news and enjoyed reading biographies and history. She had a special interest in the American Indians, the Titanic and local history and architecture. Arlene enjoyed listening to big band, country, folk, gospel and soft rock music. She was a member of several card clubs and sororities. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for 65 years. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Cathedral in Rochester, New York and Saint Catherine of Siena Church in Mendon, New York.

Services

Visitation Friday, September 23rd from 6PM until 9PM. Arlene`s Funeral Mass will be held 10AM Saturday September 24th at St. Catherine of Siena Chapel. Interment Mendon Cemetery.
