History

In Loving Memory of Robert Fox... Bob lived a wonderful and fulfilling life. He served his country in the United States Navy and was able to travel the world over. After he was honorably discharged from the service he went to work at Suburba Tie Factory for a short time and then went on to Delco / Valeo where he retired after 30 years. Bob and Jean married on April 17, 1976. He became "Daddy Bob" to little Andrew and he welcomed the role of being Dad. In 1977, they were blessed with their youngest son Brian Robert. Bob also loved the family pets, Skeet's, Sassy and Cugina, better known as Gina. Bob loved his family very much. He was so proud of his sons and their accomplishments. They were ALWAYS his primary concern and he provided for them like no other. The one thing that brought the most joy to Bob was hearing the word," PAPA" from his three beautiful grandchildren, Brianna, Justin and Ryan. His lap was always as wide as need be to hold all of them close to his heart. They brought more happiness to him than words could ever express! They were his pride and joy. Bob had many hobbies. He loved to handicap the horse races, a good game of gin rummy, pinochle and Pai-Gow and an occasional trip to the casino. Over the years, he also found happiness in his extensive coin collection. He also spent many happy hours as first mate aboard "The Dog House" fishing for walleye. Bob loved football, on line poker, liver onions, Chinese buffets, bacon and "HOT" chicken wings. He also enjoyed bowling in leagues and tournaments with his sons, nephews, brothers and brother in laws and many long time friends. Bob's memory will live on through his wife, children and grandchildren and all of his family and friends. Thank you to everyone that has kept him and our family in their thoughts and prayers.
