Tributes

Barbara Brown Tuke wrote on Mar 12, 2018:

"It is almost 9 months since you left us. Life has not been the same without you as everyday, I still expect a text saying you are okay. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you a thousand times and pray that God has you in his loving arms and easing your soul. Losing a child is something a parent should never have to endure as it changes your life forever. I visit you at your new home at least twice a week and stay and talk with you about the weeks events. I leave some fresh flowers because I know you loved flowers. I am trying so hard to keep your plant alive. I remember you told me once how much you loved that plant and worked hard to keep it alive because "it was the only thing in your life that you've been able to keep alive". My heart breaks again every day! I love you with all my heart and will never stop. Mom"

Dave Penrose wrote on Jun 24, 2017:

"Barbara (Mrs. Brown), Steve and all of Mikes Family, I have so many great memories of Mike and the time we spent together as best friends in elementary and junior high school. Mike was the type of friend that you could always rely on. He was so full of life. I recall spending a lot of time with Mike growing up on Ford Avenue and Donna Marie Circle. Even though we hadn't seen each other in many years I often spoke fondly about Mike to my wife and kids. I wish there was something I could say or do to ease the pain of his passing. I will always remember Mikes infectious smile and his laugh. He will never be forgotten. Dave Penrose"

Jerry Patterson wrote on Jun 24, 2017:

"Candace, KC, Michael and Michaela, We are sorry for your loss. Please don't hesitate to call on Anchor friends for any help we might be able to give. Words fail to capture the enormity of your loss, now and for years to come. I remember the pride and joy, mixed with reliance upon God, that Michael had on his face as he showed me his sobriety coin. I agree with you that his story will hopefully inspire others. Many will remember Michael and Candace dancing in Christmas musicals, each doing their best to make their partner look great! My family enjoys the benefit of living in a house where Michael did some work, and so we will always remember his careful attention to detail. The LORD be with you, jp"
