History

Peter Ciravola spent the majority of his life helping other people. He worked in the public sector in many different capacities including Pure Waters, a 911 emergency dispatcher at the Office of Emergency Communications, a police dispatcher for the Greece Police Department and assignments at the Monroe County Radio Center. Peter's co-workers would always say that he had a sarcastic joke or quip just to make them smile and made his work environment a fun place to be. Although his work was a vital part of the man he was, he also was married for seventeen years and raised two boys, Anthony who works as an IT administrator for the Town of Greece and is a part time police officer for the Village of East Rochester and Joe who is an Associate LAN Administrator for the Seventh Judical District. Without the constant support and encouragement of Peter his two sons would not have made these achievements. By far, the most important priority in Peter's life were his grandchildren. Daniel, Derek "D.J", Chloe Bella, Jayden and Ava Grace. Their voices were even ringtones on his cell phone. Peter loved these children more than life itself and they too cared for him deeply. In closing, we would like to thank everyone who has called to offer support in our family's time of need. Peter will be missed very much, exponentially more, each day that passes.

"don a walker Relation to Deceased: very good friend pete was a good person i liked working with him, i was a tow co. that worked with greece police dept. for 12 yrs. The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips"
