Frances Maurine (Schroeder) Sinner, 84 of Glenwood, Iowa, passed away January 21, 2021 at the Osceola Regional Health Center in Sibley, Iowa.

Frances was born on August 24, 1936 in Callaway, Nebraska, the oldest of four children of Robert Harlow and Hilda (Eret) Schroeder. Her family moved to the Malvern, Iowa area and in 1954 she graduated from the Malvern High School. Frances was employed as a supervisor at the Glenwood State School until her retirement.

Frances and Norman Sinner were united in marriage on October 2, 1954 in Sidney, Iowa. Norman was drafted into the United States Army and was stationed in Detroit, Michigan until his honorable discharge. The couple returned to the Malvern area in 1956 where Norman resumed farming. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Marcie, Perry, and Marilyn. In 1982, Frances and Norman moved to Glenwood, Iowa.

Frances enjoyed traveling, polka dancing, attending her children's school activities, and later on her grandchildren's. She enjoyed caring for her yard and was a fabulous cook. Her homemade chicken noodle soup along with her world famous cinnamon twists were just a few of her many family favorites. (We are still waiting to start "Fran's divine divinity" candy store). Frances enjoyed visiting and taking drives with her family and friends. She had a keen interest in politics and watched Fox News. Frances loved any time spent with her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; and beloved husband Norman in 2001.

Frances is survived by her children, Marcie Hertz and husband Kevin of Ocheyedan, IA, Perry Sinner and wife Karen of Malvern, and Marilyn Glade and husband Steve of Ocheyedan; 9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; sisters, Donna Mattson and husband Richard and Roberta Bode and husband Jerald, all of Hooper, NE; brother Donnie Schroeder and wife Diane of Malvern; and other relatives and friends.
