Dawn M. Dupras, 65, of Marquette, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 11, 2021 at her home.
Dawn was born on April 5, 1955 in Marquette to Frank J. and Margaret M. (Blair) Dupras. She was 1973 graduate of Marquette Senior High School and was a life-long area resident.
Dawn worked for the Michigan D.N.R. Fisheries as a Research Technician. As well as a bartender for numerous establishments in Marquette County. Dawn more recently was a bus driver for MarqTran, attending to the elderly and disabled. A job which she loved.
Dawn was an avid reader and candy crush player. She enjoyed gardening, mostly wildflowers, and feeding the hummingbirds. She was a super aunt to her nieces and nephews and loved spending summers at the family cottage in Three Lakes. Dawn also had a wicked sense of humor.
Dawn is survived by her mother, Margaret "Maggie" Dupras of Marquette; her brothers, Terry (Johnnie) Dupras of Seattle, WA and Patrick (Karen) Dupras of Barrington, IL; nieces and nephews, Trevor (Rachel), Ryan, Andrea (Dennis), Renee (Brian), Aimee, Jacqueline, Alexander and Stephanie (Devin); great nieces and great nephews, Lucille and Penelope and Oliver and Beckett; former sister-in-law, Barbara Dupras of Marquette; and her uncle, Allan Blair Jr. of Flagstaff, AZ. Dawn was preceded in death by her father, Frank Dupras, and her niece, Nichole.
A memorial service for Dawn will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Dawn's name to St. Vincent De Paul Society, 2119 Presque Isle Ave., Marquette, MI 49855.
