Tina Marie Reed was born March 22, 1963, the daughter of Donald and Darlene Gross Trierweiler. She passed away at her home in Kiron, Iowa, on August 24, 2013, at the age of 50.
Tina was born in Omaha, Nebraska. She received her education in the Dow City Community Schools graduating with the class of 1981. After high school Tina worked at the Dunlap Nursing Home. Tina was united in marriage to Randy TenEyck and to this union was born three children, Nathan, Dusti, and Elizabeth. She then went to work at Dubuque and later IBP. Tina married John Reed and to this union was born one daughter, Billie. Tina worked at Ampride and Boz Wellz as a cook and in later years worked as a waitress.
In 1996 Tina was confirmed and joined St. John Lutheran Church in Kiron, Iowa. She enjoyed baking and had expressed interest in opening her own bakery some day. She took pride in her yard and liked to work in her flower and vegetable garden. Tina loved spending time with her family and would often plan picnics at the park with them. She always knew just what to say whenever her children needed good advice. She made special memories for her grandchildren as she loved to bake treats for them at Christmas and birthday parties. Tina had fond memories of her grandmother’s home in Earling where she often stayed as a child.
Tina was preceded in death by her father; and her husband, John Reed. Survivors include one son, Nathan TenEyck of Denison; three daughters: Dusti Garcia of Denison; Elizabeth Duran and her husband, Juan of Oceanside, California; and Billie Reed of Denison; two step-children: Amanda Monroy and her husband, Shaun; and Chris Reed, both of Ida Grove; 12 grandchildren; her mother, Darlene Trierweiler of Earling; four brothers: Russell Trierweiler and his wife, Laurie of Dunlap; Dave Trierweiler and his wife, Sara of Woodbine; Tom Trierweiler and his wife, Cindy of Hinton, Iowa; and Dan Trierweiler and his wife, Jodi of Chesapeake, Virginia; one sister, Jackie Trierweiler and special friend, Denny Becker of Dunlap; other relatives and friends.
