Bradley Duane Schultz was born February 21, 1958, at Denison, Iowa, the son of Milford and Delores Schultz. He passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa, at the age of fifty-nine.
Brad was baptized in Christ March 23, 1958, and confirmed March 26, 1972, both at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Schleswig. He grew up on the farm near Schleswig and received his education in the Schleswig Community Schools graduating from Schleswig High School with the Class of 1976 and continued his education at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri graduating in 1980. He was united in marriage to Judith Coffman July 26, 1980, at St. James Lutheran Church in Kansas City, Missouri, and they moved back to the Schleswig area to farm. The couple was blessed with the birth of three sons, Kyle, Kellen and Tanner. Brad and Judy moved into Schleswig in 2009, but continued to have an active role in the farming operation.
Having a sincere Christian faith, being a life-long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, he was a devoted and loving husband and father. Brad enjoyed working on the farm, NASCAR, and races in Denison. He especially enjoyed sports including participating in golf, slow pitch softball and Sunday basketball games with friends, watching his children’s sporting events.
Brad was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father, Milford. Survivors include: his mother, Delores; his wife, Judy; three sons, Kyle and his fianc, Megan; Kellen and his wife, Anna, and Tanner; two sisters, Sherry and her husband, Phil, and Sheila; other relatives and friends.
