"When we visited Sheila, she always had a quilt on the frame that she was working on. It was so exiting each time to see her talent in how she could put together the different colors, designs and fabrics into one beautiful quilt that was so totally different from the last one we had seen. I had heard non-quilters wonder why someone would take a perfectly good piece of brand new fabric, cut it up into little pieces, and then sew it back together. But seeing Sheila's quilts made me understand. Sheila was a creator and each one of her creations expressed a little part of her. We will miss her but know that when her quilts are being used, they will be Sheila giving the person using it a big hug from her. John and Lela Hess"

"I remember going to O'Neil to watch the NE vs. Oklahoma football game with Vic & Sheila, and it seemed like we visited them a lot when I was young. Mom and Sheila were such good friends, and I know that Mom is sending her love from heaven to all of you. Randy See & Camie"
