Victoria Rhae Sharp was born October 22, 1948, in Denison, Iowa, the daughter of Vinton and RoseMary Sharp. She passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa, at the age of seventy-one.
Vicki was baptized into Christ and confirmed her faith at Zion Lutheran Church in Denison, Iowa. She received her education in the Dow City Schools, participated in six-on-six basketball, and graduated from Dow City High School. She was also privileged to be named Crawford County Conservation Queen. Vicki was united in marriage to Terry Lampe November 18, 1967, and subsequently married Randy TenEyck May 8, 2008, in Denison. Her varied areas of employment included Job Corps, Post Office, Dunlap School cafeteria and as a server at The Rib Cage.
Family always came first for Vicki. She sacrificed everything for her kids and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She had a special fondness for and cared for her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Vicki always rode the bus with her kids to attend their sporting events. Camping, motorcycle riding, horseback riding, traveling, painting ceramics, sewing and other crafts were her favorite pastime activities. Vicki enjoyed watching science fiction on television, listening to music, and the Iowa Hawkeyes and Kansas City Chiefs were her favorite sports teams. Baking was also an interest of hers with pumpkin bars being her specialty.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, her mother-in-law, a brother-in-law, and a grandson. Survivors include: her husband, Randy TenEyck of Dow City; her children: Christi Cook and husband, Chad of Thorton, Iowa, Jeff Lampe and his wife, Kara of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Brenda TenEyck of Clear Lake, Iowa; Nathan TenEyck of Denison, Iowa, Dusti Garcia of Dow City, Iowa, and Elizabeth Duran and husband, Juan of Menifee, California; six sisters: Cathy Cross and her husband, Dwayne of Denver, Missouri, Ronda Rosch and her husband, Jim of Des Moines, Iowa, Laurie Norris and her husband, Phil of Lawrence, Kansas, Carleen Sharp of Manhattan, Kansas, Anita Sharp, and Mariellen Sharp and special friend, Joe Wood all of Dow City, Iowa; three brothers: David Sharp and his wife, Claudine of Arion, Iowa, Dan Sharp and his wife, Deb of Cascade Locks, Oregon, and Tom Sharp and his wife, Marilyn of Denison, Iowa; four sister-in-laws: Arlinda Brink of Denison, Iowa, Joyce Henkel and her husband, Roger of Deloit, Iowa, Barb Kolpin of Dow City, Iowa, Pat Head of Lewiston, Idaho. Four brother-in-laws: Bob TenEyck and his wife, Kathy of Dunlap, Iowa, Denny TenEyck and his wife, Geri of Arion, Iowa, Jim TenEyck and his wife, Sue of Dow City, Iowa, Terry TenEyck and his wife, Phyllis of Dow City, Iowa, twenty-one grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several other family members and friends.
