Patricia Louise Stork was born on August 29, 1951, to Mathias Henry and Mary Ann (Grabner) Stork in Carroll, Iowa. She graduated from Kuemper Catholic High School in Carroll. After high school, Patricia married Keith Miller on June 30, 1969, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The couple made their home on a farm near Dow City, Iowa, and were blessed with five children. Patricia later moved to Deloit, Iowa. She was employed as a waitress and at Farmland for many years, where she met many close friends.
Patricia was a member of the Volunteer Dow City and Deloit Fire Departments, and she was also an EMT. She was an avid gardener. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters visiting casinos and traveling. She especially cherished spending time with her family and friends.
Patricia died on October 25, 2020, at the age of 69 years, one month and 27 days in Denison, Iowa.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; two siblings, Ruth Lappe and Kenneth Stork; and two nephews, Christopher Lappe and Christopher Love. She is survived by her five children, Milissa (Kevin Handke) Miller of Sioux City, Iowa, Kathleen (Michael) Harris of San Augustine, Texas, John Miller of Denison, Guy (Krystal) Miller of Dow City; Larry (Jessica) Miller of Glenwood, Iowa; grandchildren, Travis Slusher, Jenna (Brice Uehling) Slusher, Madison (Trey Cobb) Johnson, Sara Miller, Jessica (Austin Moss) Harris, Kristen (Scott) Haynes, Joseph Harris, Savannah Miller, Keith Miller, and Abigail Miller; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis (Larry) Davis, Susan (Robert) Benedict), Margaret (Patrick) Gross, Mary (Lynn) Eickman, Michele Stork, Sandra (Ron) Hackerson; brothers, Alan (LuJean) Stork, Robert (MaryLou) Stork, Donald (Marsha) Stork, Thomas (Mary Jean) Stork, Bill (Pat) Stork, Gordon (Carol) Stork, Matt Jr. (Teri) Stork, and Henry (Amy) Stork; sister-in-law, Michelle Stork; brother-in-law, Fred Lappe; and many other relatives and friends.
