November 11, 1970 - January 8, 2021

Sonya Lee Hamrick, age 50, of Cumming, GA passed away January 08, 2021.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved her yearly vacations at the beach with her husband and family. She had hopes to one day retire there with her love. She also loved her animals and spending her days watching tv with them. She lit up every room she walked into, and welcomed every person with open arms. Her voice and laugh was contagious. She was the light to many lives and loved everyone endlessly.

She is survived by her husband, Chris Hamrick, of Cumming, mother & step father, Myra & Jim Taylor, of Doraville, GA, children, Keva Hamrick, of Dahlonega, GA, Tyler Hamrick, of Cumming, Kara Hamrick, of Cumming, Kayla Hamrick, of Cumming, sister, Rhonda Bucknor, of Lawrenceville, GA, brothers, Jeff Towe, of Augusta, GA, Greg Towe, of Dacula, GA, grandchildren, Kelsey Bush, Kaley, Bush, & Kaleb Hamrick.

Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Saturday January 16, 2021 at Sawnee View Gardens with Rev. Timothy Long officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the funeral home.

Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia in charge of arrangements.
