Marilyn Denise Cotton, age 57, the daughter of Curtis and Christine (McDaniel) Cotton, was born June 21, 1963 in Omaha, Nebraska. She passed away January 7, 2021 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents: Curtis and Christine Cotton; brothers: Howard and Calvin Cotton; sister, Diane K. Caldwell. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Cotton-Welchen; granddaughter, Sanai Cotton-Welchen; brothers: Curtis Cotton Jr. (Kim), Harold Cotton; sisters: Mamie Cotton, Joyce Triplett (Abe), Kennetta McCants (Ricky), TaWanda Mercer (Greg) and LaShanda Cotton; brother-in-law, Virgil Caldwell; several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of friends.
PRIVATE SERVICES 1:00 P.M., Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M., Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Livestreaming will start 30 minutes prior to services on Forest Lawn's website.
