Robert Alonza Rackley
July 23, 1951 - December 16, 2020

Robert was born on July 23, 1951, to Robert Lee and Sadie Mae Rackley in Tallahassee, Florida. He moved to San Diego, California, with his family as a young child.

He received his formal education in the San Diego Unified School District. After graduation, Robert went to work in the family construction business as a Lather, later becoming a (Master) Lather. He enjoyed listening to music, eating good food, and spending time with his family and friends.

Robert Alonza Rackley, age 69, departed this earth on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, in Clarksville, Texas, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Robert was preceded in death by his father Robert Lee Rackley, sister Carrie Ann Rackley, and son Marlon Mauraye Rackley. Left to cherish his memory are: his mother Sadie Mae Rackley; three sons: Robert Terrell Rackley (Bernadette), of Oceanside, CA, Antowain Rackley (Elisha) of El Centro, CA, and Alonzo Marquette Rackley (Shannon), of Seattle, WA; three brothers: Perman Rackley (Linda) of Oakland, CA, Bobby Rackley (Sandra-deceased), and Bernard Rackley (Charlene); five sisters: Martha Howell (Lawrence) of Stewart, FL, Catherine Kennedy, Tina Rackley-Porter (Thomas-deceased) of Philadelphia, PA, Stephanie Austin (Stephen-deceased), and Carla Gilstrap; ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
