E. Tyson Thacker left us way too Early on January 10, 2021 at the young age of 39.
He was born August 23, 1981 to Susan (Fisher) and R. Todd Thacker in Roosevelt, Utah.
He was raised in Upalco, Utah until the Family moved to Jensen, Utah in 1997.
Tyson married the Love of his Life Autumn Piva on July 19, 2003, in Vernal, Utah.
He loved so unconditionally and cared very deeply, touching the hearts of so many throughout his short life here on this earth. He was a "counselor" to many, and truly held the World on his shoulders. (Yet he would not let anyone take his burdens and pain off of his.) Saying, "I'm a Big Ole Boy and my Shoulders can carry a lot, it's my job to be a Friend!" and he was one Hell of a Friend.
Tyson worked hard and always did whatever it took to "Get-R-Done!" He absolutely loved working in the Oilfield and enjoyed everything about it. From driving winch trucks, to doing roustabout work, pumping and much more. He knew a lot about many things in the field and loved being "oilfield trash!" He especially loved the people he worked with.
He shared a love of Farming and the Cowboy way, and really enjoyed raising Longhorns. He loved their unique colors and the way their horns grew. He shared this love with his kids, watching them in the field brought them all a lot of Joy. He shared this love of farming with his Dad, and it brought them closer together, Working cows and fixing their Ranch in Meeker. He loved that place and had many dreams of what it will be.
Tyson has a great love for his Nephews and Nieces. He was close to each one them and he taught them each many different trades. From riding horses, to hunting, fishing, rough housing, and of course teasing and most of all Caring!! They Loved him Dearly.
Tys had many nicknames and loved giving others nicknames. He had many of his own: Tigger, E.T., Messy Marvin, The Silver Back Gorilla, Sausage Fingers, Wildman, Thack, Free Spirit, and many more.
Family was the most important thing in the world to him though. He made a point, especially the past year to spend much quality time with his Kids. Teaching them lifelong skills that they will cherish and last forever!! He always said Love you before he left the house, on the phone and text messages. He told the family a lot the past year, "Family is all we have and we need to keep us all together!"
"TELL PEOPLE YOU LOVE THEM, YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU WILL SEE THEM AGAIN!" Tyson Thacker
Tyson is Survived by his wife, Autumn Piva Thacker, their 4 beautiful kids, Eyan (Cornpeach), Elcey (Muffin), Eli (Hoss), Exton (Li'l Joe). Parents: Susan (Fisher) and R. Todd Thacker. "God is calling his Strong and Valiant Warriors, to help with what is to come."

"Whether it was working together BBQ?s or dinner at the house. There were always stories and a contagious laugh. I almost ran him over one day as I sat with my foot on the brake with the truck in gear when Tyson put a blow snake that he had in his hands towards my face. The farther I leaned to get away the less I pressed on the brakes until the truck started rolling... and we won?t even mention him throwing rocks or hitting the separator with his hands when you least expected it. Just to make you jump. You will be missed brother thanks for looking out for me "

"Each time I think of Tyson the first picture that comes to mind is that little boy with the ever present mischievous smile and twinkling eyes, already prepared as I entered the room as his Primary teacher, to let me know he intended to rock back on his chair no matter what. I was probably the only one that didn?t laugh the day he tipped so far back that he whacked his head really hard on the brick wall. Trying so hard not to cry, tears glistening in his eyes, and acting like he planned it that way all along. It still brings a tear to my eyes, remembering what a tough guy image he thought he had to maintain his entire life, when deep down he was such a tender hearted soul. Oh Tyson. How we all wish you understood how truly loved you are. I guess you will come to understand that now.

"Such an empty space in my heart. Tyson was one of a kind. He sure loves each one of his kids and adores his wife! Tyson and I were born days apart and he was like my twin brother my whole life. He always checked on me with a phone call once a month. His heart was big, he couldn?t handle seeing the less fortunate struggle, always helping someone out trying to ease their pain. I think he can spread his wings now and do a lot of that same work in heaven. I will miss brother! Love you kids and Autumn so very much. So sorry for your loss. Hang in there, stay close and be brave, your daddy built you to be strong for a reason.
