It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our beloved Son, Brother and Friend Nelson Deban Jowdy, born October 9th, 1960, passed away January 2nd, 2021 from natural causes.
Nelson is survived by his Mother Shirley Coronado (Angel), two brothers Kelly Jowdy (Lori), Robert Jowdy (Sonya), three sisters Kathleen Jowdy-Koran, Karen Jowdy-Friedman (Michael), Sheryl Jowdy-Mitchell (Mark). Niece and Nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Nelson attended Most Holy Trinity elementary and Sunnyslope High School. He loved going to the beaches in San Diego and riding his bike on the boardwalk and had a great love for sharks. Nelson also enjoyed hiking and going for walks, especially around North Mtn and Dreamy Draw areas. He enjoyed gathering with his long-time friends and shootin the bull. Nelson told the best jokes and had the best stories. He was a talker for sure and had the best laugh. All that knew him, loved him. He was a big teddy bear and had the best hugs.
Due to the pandemic the viewing and burial will be for family only.

"Nelson is, was, always will be someone very special to me. From Most Holy Trinity Grade School, Sunnyslope High School, Tommy\'s Pizza, Aunt Chiladas, and more, I have a treasure trove of wonderful memories with \"Nelly Bo Belly.\" The loss of Nelson\'s life felt unexpected, and heartbreaking... I\'m really not sure exactly how to put into words all that I feel. In the end, I think most of us would like to know that our presence and absence truly matters. Nelson, you will continue to be greatly loved and missed by your family and friends...You matter! With love and respect, Valerie Skiba"
