Apolonia V. Ortiz
Age 87, passed away Tuesday January 5, 2021. Apolonia was born in Seguin, Texas February 9, 1933. Grew up in Seguin then moved to Austin, Texas.
Apolonia is preceded in death by husband of 54 years Gilberto Ortiz, and son Reynaldo V. Ortiz.
Survivors are sons; Gilbert V. Ortiz Jr., Rudy V. Ortiz, Ruben V. Ortiz, all of Austin. Daughters; Rebecca V. Ortiz of Austin, Rita V. Gonzales of Houston, Rachel O. Gonzales of Manor; Brothers Toribio Vigil of Seguin, Juan Vigil of Houston. Sisters Cruz V. Hooten of Austin, Adela V. Gonzales of Austin, and Margarita V.
Garcia of Seguin. 23 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and dear friends and pet Mogwai.
Rosary services are Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 7:00PM at Harrell Funeral Home in Austin, Texas. Mass will be Wednesday January 13th, 2021 at 10:00AM at San Jose Church in Austin with burial at Assumption Cemetery after mass.
