Mae McRae
August 9, 1930 - January 8, 2021

Mae Caroline McRae, age 90, of Quincy, died on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 7:37 am in Good Samaritan Home.

Mae was born August 9, 1930 in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of James "Frank"and Lena Florence Otten McRae.

Mae had held various positions at local businesses including, Haubach and Schroder, Se-Ling Hosiery Mill, Quincy Paper Box, Micro Energy and Industrial Support Systems. Mae was then a caretaker for Dr. Robert E. Meyer and his sister Naomi until they passed away and she retired. Mae loved to sew and play solitaire, and she was always loving and caring for others.

Survivors include her sister, Faye McRae of Quincy; a nephew, Trent Hemmings of Palm Springs, CA; and a cousin Linda Taber of Quincy.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Betty Kamphaus, Frances Hemmings, and Ruth A. McRae.

A private graveside service will be held at Greenmount Cemetery.
