Leo Jim Janey, 63 year old resident of Little Falls, MN, died Sunday, March 16 at his home of natural causes.A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 19 at 6:00 p.m. at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN.A visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. The burial will be held privately.
Leo Jim Janey was born July 18, 1950 in Little Falls, Minnesota to the late Leo and Angeline (Piontek) Janey.He grew up in Little Falls, MN and attended school.Leo worked at Larson Boats and Polar Tank for several years.Jim enjoyed many weekends at the cabin in Emily, MN. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and riding his motorcycle.Jim was an active member of the Moose Lodge and the Little Falls Fire Department.He was known to dress up as Santa and deliver gifts to sick children in the hospital. Jim treasured his time spent with family and friends especially, his daughters, Amber and Kelsey and grandchildren, Andrew and Nyah.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Amber (Jason) White of Minneapolis, MN, Kelsey Janey of Little Falls, MN, grandchildren, Andrew and Nyah; siblings, Jerry (Carolyn) Janey of Leland, NC, Richard Janey of Little Falls, MN, David (Adele Williams) Janey of Little Falls, MN, Jane Vosen of Little Falls, MN, Joanie (John) Deurr of Stacy, MN and Judy (Fred) Tabatt of Little Falls, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Louis (Butch) Janey and Gary Janey.
