Timothy Zimmerman, age 50, of Little Falls, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012 at his home. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 6, 2012 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN, with Timothy Bischke officiating. Interment will be in Fort Ripley Cemetery in Fort Ripley, MN. Visitation will be from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 6, 2012 at the funeral home. Timothy Mark Zimmerman was born on June 16, 1961 in Little Falls, MN, the son of Joseph & Annette (Zimbrick) Zimmerman. He grew up on a farm in Pike Creek Township and attended Little Falls Schools. Tim was employed at the Little Falls Golf Course and spent some time in Minneapolis working. He was united in marriage to Amy Prozinski on May 17, 1985 at St. James Catholic Church in Randall, MN. The couple farmed together on a farm in Pike Creek Township and later divorced. They had four beautiful children, Tracey, Samantha, Bradley and Rachel. Tim was also self employed as a tree trimmer and enjoyed his work very much, as he loved nature. He had a special relationship with his father-in-law as they worked together for many years. Tim enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing, hunting, trapping, hiking, bird watching, camping and gardening. Tim also loved to spend time with his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Tracey (Michael Curtiss) Zimmerman of Little Falls, MN, Samantha (Nick Calhoun) Zimmerman of Little Falls, MN, Bradley Zimmerman of Little Falls, MN and Rachel Zimmerman of Little Falls, MN; parents, Joseph & Annette Zimmerman of Little Falls, MN; fiance, Denise Pollard of Little Falls, MN; siblings, Julie (Timothy) Bischke of Jordan, MN, Nancy (Randy) Winscher of Royalton, MN, Theodore Zimmerman of Little Falls, MN and Jeannie Zimmerman of Little Falls, MN; ex-wife, Amy Zimmerman of Little Falls, MN, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Tim was preceded in death by siblings, Thomas Zimmerman and Janet Zimmerman; nephew, Benjamin Zimmerman; maternal grandparent, Marceline Zimbrick and paternal grandparents, Albert & Sophie Zimmerman.
