Eleanora M. Erhardt age 87 of Little Falls, MN, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at her home in Little Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 14, 2011 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls with Father Nick Landsberger officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Little Falls. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday and from 8:00-10:30 A.M. Monday at the Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls. Christian Mothers will pray a rosary Sunday afternoon at 4:30 P.M. at the funeral home followed by parish prayers at 6:00 P.M. Eleanora M. (Roll) Erhardt was born April 6, 1924, in Burt, Hettinger County, North Dakota to the late Alexander and Anna (Wagner) Roll. She attended school in Mott, ND. Eleanora was united in marriage to Jacob Erhardt June 29, 1943, at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Mott, ND. The couple lived and farmed in Elgin, ND on a dairy farm while raising hogs. Along with her husband Jacob, she helped harvest in their fields of wheat, flax and barley. Eleanora and Jacob sold their farm and moved to Little Falls, MN in 1956. After all her children were in school, Eleanora went to work at St. Gabriel's Hospital working there as a nursing assistant and later as a transcriber from 1969 to 1987, when she retired. Following her retirement, Eleanora and Jacob traveled throughout the United States and Canada. She enjoyed sewing, craft work, painting, gardening, fishing, playing cards, flowers and sports. She loved her backyard haven of birds, squirrels and rabbits. Most of all, Eleanora enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the holidays with family and friends. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls, Christian Mothers and the Little Falls Senior Center Card Club. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 68 years, Jacob Erhardt; son, Richard J. (Roxanne) Erhardt of Rosemount, MN; daughters, Kathleen A. (Lauren) Bentler of Little Falls, MN, Lottie M. (William) Miller of Pierz, MN, Charlene E. (Anthony) Kempenich of Little Falls, MN and Sandra (Malcolm) Westley of Madison, WI; brother, Valentine Roll of Troutdale, OR; grandchildren, Carol Jutz, Michelle Kohl, Elizabeth & Alexander Westley, Aaron & Justin Kempenich, Rachael, Samantha & Kelsey Erhardt; step-grandchildren, Tim & Shari Miller; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Nicholas, Kaleb, Dusty, Saisha, Courtney, Tanner, Isabelle, Zoelle, Niska & Sophia; step-great-grandchildren, Josh, Chad, Mitch, James David, Andrew, Alyssa, Kristopher, Kassandra & Kathryn and eight great-great step-grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Eleanora was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander & Anna Roll; brothers, Franklin, Robert, Edward and Michael Roll and a sister, Barbara Riemann.
