Jean Eich, age 82, of Fish Trap Lake, Cushing, MN, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. There will be a public visitation from 5:00 - 7:30 P.M. on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN. A private family funeral service for Jean will be held at a later date. Jean was born on January 6, 1929 in Little Falls, MN, the daughter of Leo & Mabel (Bracke) Blake. She grew up in Little Falls and graduated from Little Falls High School, Class of 1946. Jean continued her education at St. Cloud State College and taught school at Princeton, MN. She was united in marriage to Dick Eich on June 12, 1950. The couple made their home in Little Falls where they raised their family. Jean's primary job was being a homemaker and mother along with volunteering for over 30 years in Little Falls. In 1992 the couple moved to their home on Fish Trap Lake. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, Dick Eich of Fish Trap Lake; children, Rick (Renee) Eich of St. Cloud, MN, Bob (Stef) Eich of Atlanta, GA and Sue (Artie) Weber of Rochester, MN; grandchildren, Greg (Nicole) Eich, Melissa (Josh) Reuter, Paul Eich, Collin (Kelli) Eich, Jordan Eich, Taylor Eich, Rick Weber and Ashley Weber; great-grandchildren, Dylan Reuter and Maren Eich; sister-in-law, Mary Eich Froehle of Great Falls, MT and brothers-in-law, Louie (Sue) Eich of Appleton, WI and Bill Anderson of Cape Coral, FL. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Margaret Eich Anderson; brother-in-law, Chuck Froehle and niece, Christin Anderson Ross. Family Prefers Memorials to The Donors Choice.
