Robert Marthaler
September 18, 1964 - November 23, 2010

Rob Marthaler, age 46 of Randall, MN, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010 as a result of an automobile accident in Benton County, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 29th at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Belle Prairie with Rev. Nick Landsberger officiating. Interment will be in Holy Family Cemetery. Visitation is from 3:00-7:00 P.M. Sunday at the Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls and Monday from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Parish prayers will be said at 5:30 P.M. Sunday evening at the funeral chapel followed by the Knights of Columbus at 6:15P.M. Robert "Rob" J. Marthaler was born September 18, 1964 in Little Falls, MN to Vivian L. (Kramer) Marthaler and Carl A. Marthaler. He grew up in Little Falls where he attended St. Mary's School and the Little Falls Community High School graduating in 1983. Rob attended the Brainerd Vocational Technical Institute. He worked at Larson Boats, Wal-Mart in management, in construction for Randy Kramer Construction and at the time of his death, for St. Cloud Fire and Equipment. Rob enjoyed building his house, snowmobiling, riding motorcycle, loved his land and being outdoors, working on small engines, fishing with his niece and nephews but most of all, was known as a guy who could fix anything. Rob was very protective and loyal to his family and loved his step-daughters as if they were his own. He was a member Holy Family Catholic Church in Belle Prairie, Knights of Columbus and the Pinnacle Hunting Club. Rob is survived by his wife, Jayne; mother, Vivian Marthaler of Little Falls, MN; brothers, Allen (Marion) Marthaler of Bradenton, FL and Doug (Eike) Marthaler of Lincoln, NE; step-daughters, Allisa Voracek, Samantha & Rachel Stauffer; niece & nephews, Sara, Dave & Ryan Marthaler. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Marthaler in 1991 and both sets of grandparents.
