Memorial written by Scott Anderson wrote on Jan 11, 2030:

"Memorial:My Dad was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend. He had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh and loved God. He was generous with his time and talents to many charities and organizations througout his entire life. He was a proud American and a good soldier, not only for the Army and National Guard, but for Christ as well. If you met him, you probably liked him and eventually loved him. He was as loyal of a friend as one could ask, and rarely ever said no when help was needed by anyone. He was called to God and he answered the call Tuesday, a day after honoring his fallen comrades at Camp Ripley and The American Legion Veteran's burial grounds in Little Falls. He was a great man. He was a proud man. He was my best man. He was a real man. I love you Dad. I miss you Dad."

He was a gracious, generous and fun man. He will be missed and remembered fondly."
