Jerry Galley, age 87, of Palm Bay, FL, died December 16, 2006 at the William Childs Hospice in Palm Bay, FL. He was born to William & Florence Lisle Galley on October 12, 1919. His mother died during child birth and he was raised by his maternal grandmother in Royalton, MN. During WWII, he served in the United States Navy. He married Miriam (Terry) Gray in 1947 and they made their home in the Minneapolis area. He worked in the automotive parts industry and owned a parts store in East Grand Forks, MN, until retirement and moved to Florida in 1984. Terry preceded him in death in 1985. Jerry's great passions were golf and NASCAR. He leaves his wife of 12 years, Doris Baxter Galley, his son William Galley & wife Deborah, daughter Nancy Galley Baum & husband Neil Baum, Carol Baxter, Jeanne Baxter, Greg Baxter and wife Kathi, 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Jerry will return to Royalton, MN with a memorial service to be held in the spring. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
