Anthony "Deannie" Dean Branch
June 29, 1964 - January 2, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Anthony Dean "Deannie" Branch announces his passing on Saturday January 02, 2021 at the age of 56 years at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City Iowa.

Anthony Branch was born June 29, 1964 in East Moline, IL; the son of Phyllis J. and Osborne W. Branch. He earned his GED and received his certificate as truck driver and was employed by several companies for many years.

Anthony loved sports he played little league baseball as a pitcher and pitch a no hitter game during league championship. also played on JR. Panther football team, basketball on Biddy basketball team.

Anthony was a man of many pursuits. He loved spending time with his family on holidays and special events. He loved watching all kinds of sports and a fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears. His faith lead him to attend church and spending quality time with his ever-growing family. He almost always had someone with him no matter where he went. He mostly enjoyed fishing and has passed that love down to most of his children and grandchildren. Anthony loved his children with all his heart and encouraged his boys to be a good father and his girls to be good mother furthermore, he was a fierce protector to his children. He will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory include his 8 Children, Jonathan (Tenisha), Brittany, Jessica, Anthony (Cynthia), Michael (Tylisha), Antaveos (LaTasha), Marcus, and Alexander; 8 Loving Survivors Siblings; Valarie Smith, Osborne (Sharon) Branch, Jr, Michelle Branch, Cynthia (Wendell) Champion, Jason Branch, Talise (Nathaniel) Wadley, and Melvin Jarrett: 28-almost 29-Grandchildren; Special Friend Marcella DeRoin, Special Friend Sharon Kelly and numerous Nieces and Nephews, as well as many other Relatives and Friends.

Preceded in death his loving Grandmother; Mabel Sangster, Grandfather; William Bell, Grandmother; Mamie Branch, Grandfather; John Branch, Granddaughter; Haley DeRoin.

Due to the COVID 19 there will be Memorial Service & Celebration of Life to be held Tuesday June 29, 2021.

"He will be missed and remembered forever! He was always finding something to laugh at and with you! But it was some great memory during 4th of July we be on the same badminton ? team and he literally that he was "cold" competitor and be swatting at the air. Love you brother ? "
