Raymond "Scott" Jaeger
May 9, 1957 - January 2, 2021

Raymond Scott Jaeger was born to Marliyn Rowley and Raymond Frank Jaeger. Later he was given a bonus dad Jerry Lovelady.

Scott loved the mountains. His passion was hunting and. As the years went on Scott always looked forward to planning the next hunting trip with his best friends Robert "Robbie" Mortensen and William "Billy" Shell. They would plan for months and always seemed to forget something. For years they hunted the blindstream area where he knew that place like the back of his hand. Fishing trips with his best friend Clair Brock and his family were priceless "fish on" were the words. Some stories would have you laughing, others would make you blush, but that time with his friends and family is what he cherished the most.

He is survived by his mother Marilyn Rowley Jaeger of Duchesne, Utah, brother Donald (Christine) Jaeger of Salt Lake City, Utah, sister Leslie Lingle of Ioka, Utah, sister Sheri Jaeger (Russ Abbott) of Duchesne, Utah, sister Athena Newton of California, sister Kathy Delozier of Lapoint, Utah, sister Shirley (Randy) Fredrick of Ballard, Utah, children: Dustin (Amanda) Jaeger of Washington, Cody (Davis) Jaeger of Ft. Duchesne, Utah, Forrest (Miranda) Zurcher of Roosevelt, Utah, Chandler Zurcher of Roosevelt, Utah, Aja (Alex) Burrows of Roosevelt, Utah, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, father Raymond Frank Jaeger, brother Michael Jaeger, uncle Paul Rowley, grandson Dustin Scott Jr. Jaeger, nephew Justin Barlow, the man he called dad Jerry Lovelady, and brother-in-law Jimmy Delozier.

Scott will be cremated and a small family gathering to celebrate his life will be set at a later date. Online condolences may be shared at www.AshleyValleyFuneralHome.com
