"I'll never for get as a little girl. My father Thomas whiting had me on his shoulders. My grandfather Robert was very tall asked me if I wanted to be on his shoulders. I loved my grandfather so I agreed without a second thought. I remember my father asking me if I was sure and laughing when I agreed again. I had to have been around 1 or 2 years old at the time. I was only my Grandfather's shoulders and I looked down at my father then down at the ground and wanted my father back. He was a very tall man but very wholesome I wish I could have had more time with him.
