"Rest in peace, "Uncle" Gene! Give Aunt Rhea a big hug. I'll always remember your odd sense of humor, your beautiful art, and your great kindness. All my love."

"What a blessing it was to get to know this great man better when we served at the nursing home branch. It was fun to talk to him and learn about him. He was a talented, lovely man and he will be missed. I always enjoyed it when he came to visit his girlfriend Joyce before he became a resident. Rest in peace Gene, and again, thank you for your valiant service in WWII. "

"My sincere condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that God promises to end all suffering. Before long, God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and "death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things (will) have passed away."(Rev. 21:3,4). May this promise from God give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy."
