Susanne Marie Desser, "Suzi Q, Suzy Cheesecake" 59 of Preston, Idaho passed away on June 21, 2018 She was surrounded by her husband, son, brothers and sisters after her 20 plus year battle with Parkinson's disease. We are so broken hearted and she will be missed every single day.Yet we know she is in heaven with those whom she loved that have gone before her.Born, Susanne Marie Evans in Downey Ca. on January 1, 1959, she fought to be born as her twin sister, Georganne Marie arrived 20 minutes before her. She had a sweet disposition and a great sense of humor. She grew up in La Mirada, Ca and graduated La Mirada High School in 1977. During high school, she met Dave, the love of her life and they dated for 5 years. In 1982 they were married. Together they moved to Northern California and started their family. Due to Dave's position with Pitney Bowes (Schreiber) Susie moved several times thru the years, including Beaverton, Oregon; Providence, Utah; living her last four years in Preston, Idaho. Susie loved camping and fishing and was an accomplished fisherman. What she treasured most in life, was being a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was also Aunt Susie "titi" to 21 nieces and nephews. Susie loved to bake and cook, it brought her such joy. It was not unusual for her to show up with fresh baked twists, cheesecake or a meal to neighbors or anyone in need.Susie loved and served the Lord, Jesus Christ all her life. She knew and could quote numerous bible verses. Her faith gave her the strength to endure the painful challenges of her disease. "Our condolences to Dave and his family. Susanne was a great neighbor and friend to many. We loved to visit with her at Christmastime and throughout the year. She always brought a home-made treat to our family, even as her disease made it more difficult for her. She had faith in Jesus Christ and loved Him. She knew that He was watching over her. She easily talked about Jesus and knew that she was loved."
