"I have lots of great memories of Mary and the days at Esgate country school. We walked miles to go sledding and found some great hills on their farm. She and her parents were so welcoming to us kids. They were just fun to be around. I'm sad to hear of her passing. I am thankful I had a chance to visit her at Maquoketa Care a couple years ago. My sympathy to all of the family and especially her brother, Gary. "
