September 29, 1984 - December 15, 2020

Joshua Dale Harp, 36, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Tuesday December 15, 2020.
Funeral services will be Monday December 21st at 2:00 PM Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Visitation and time of prayer Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home.
Survivors include his parents Howard and Patricia Harp of Fort Dodge, brothers Jayson (Angie) Harp of Fort Dodge, Jared (Danielle) Harp of Des Moines, niece Madilynn Harp and nephews Reece and Daeren Harp, grandmother Lynn Nesler of Fort Dodge, grandparents Chester and Patsy Harp of Fort Dodge, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Richard Nesler.
Joshua Dale Harp was born on September 29, 1984 in Fort Dodge. He was raised and educated here and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 2003. Following his education Josh worked in the food industry and was a cook at Olde Boston's. He later worked at Georgia Pacific for several years. Josh was currently employed at the family business Harp's Outlet. He enjoyed reading, fishing, and time spent with friends. Josh was able to make anyone smile with his unique sense of humor and had a very strong faith in God. He was a beloved uncle to Reece, Madilynn and Daeren and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.

"I remember Josh my son and him were best friends growing up we were neighbors . and if the weren't at joshes house they were at mine. Even after they graduated every time he saw me he always acknowledge me and called me mom. He always was a joy my sympathy to all."
