Patricia Ann Davis, age 77, of Quincy, died Monday, December 14, 2020, at 7:25 pm in Blessing Hospital.
Patricia was born September 12, 1943, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Jean Oswald and Mildred Boyle Long. She married George Neil Davis on January 6, 1962 in Arkansas. He survives.
Patricia had worked as an LPN at both St. Mary's and Blessing Hospitals. She was a member of the Church of St. Peter, where she was active with the Perpetual Adoration Chapel. She was also instrumental in the establishment of the St. Joseph, Faithful Guardian of Carmel Group in Quincy which is the first and only Carmelite group in the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois.
In addition to her husband, survivors include three children: Dawn Stark of Quincy; Scott Davis of Quincy; and Shawn (Melissa) Davis of Elmhurst, IL; four grandchildren: Josh (Kelsey) Lawless of Quincy; Cody (Katie) Davis of Bend, OR; Cole Davis of Quincy; and Allie Davis of Elmhurst, IL; and a great granddaughter, Eleanor Lawless.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Cherie Davis.
