"Mike, my neighbor and I had a great conversation a couple of weeks ago. He spoke of growing up in New Jersey, the love he had for his family and hhow he adored his wife, Mary. He quietly listened to my story. As we parted I thought to myself what a kinder, more understanding world it would be if we opened up more to to others and shared our stories, ourselves. Sadly, it was our last conversation. My heart goes out to all who knew and loved Mike as well as to those who didn\'t know him for there is a loss there as well. "

"Mike (Mac I liked to call him) was truly one of a kind. I will miss his wonderful laugh and smile so much. Mike was a true friend to many and always there to lend an ear or shoulder to cry on. Such a talented young man, I?ll treasure the time we were able to spend together and the memories I have. I?ll never understand why such a wonderful person had to leave us so soon. Sending prayers to his family, friends, coworkers and his beloved wife Mary. "
