Edith Smith, 67, of Glenwood, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at the Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs. Edith wished to have her body cremated and there is no scheduled service. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Edith and her family.

Edith Smith, 67, of Glenwood, IA passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at the Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA.
Edith Elizabeth Price, daughter of Norman Eugene and Edith Irene (Manes) Price, was born on August 11, 1953 in California. On November 21, 1977 she married George LeRoy Smith. The couple was blessed with two children, Ronda and Shon.
Edith enjoyed spending time with her family and everything Jack Skellington (Nightmare before Christmas).
Edith was preceded in death by her parents; and brother James Price.
Edith is survived by her husband, George of 43 years of Glenwood; daughter Ronda Smith of Glenwood; son, Shon Smith and his wife, Nichole Annin-Smith, of Carter Lake, IA; 5 grandchildren; sister, Kim Fore McClure of North Carolina; other relatives; and a host of friends.
