"I am just one of the many, many nurses fortunate enough to have known, and learned so much from Lauren. A recurrent theme is : she had my back. When she was the manager in the ICU at Seton, she had a remarkable talent for advocating for the staff, while advancing the goals of administration.
I loved her great laugh, her dry sense of humor, and the way her smile and eye rolls would instantly lighten all situations. She remains my greatest nursing mentor. She taught me how to care for and about neuro patients. She was SO generous with her knowledge! I am still teaching other nurses things that Lauren taught me.
Not one to stagnate, she did a lot with her nursing career. I hope her family will be comforted by knowing that Lauren truly left her mark in this world. Countless colleagues and patients are so much better, because of her dedication and passion. God bless you Lauren. Suzanne LaPinta"

I remember she had a great sense of humor, laughed easily and didn?t hesitate to send an e-mail marked URGENT that included images of a celebrity with a lot of plastic surgery (subject line: must discuss).
She will be missed - Praying for her family.

Having met at Seton many years ago, our relationship only flourished over the years, working side-by-side. I always looked to Lauren for guidance, compassion, resolve and friendship- I always knew she had my back!!! She, by far, was one of the smartest people I have ever worked with in my 40 year healthcare career- I always knew Lauren would know the answer- she never disappointed. I feel blessed to have had Lauren in my life- my life was much richer with her in it! She was a pillar of integrity, a strong voice and a fond friend. I am truly heartbroken. I know her children will continue their paths in life with the great passion and determination inspired by their Mother. Lauren impacted my life in so many ways and I will miss her. AJ"
