In loving memory of

JEANNEANE NASON ADAMINI
March 2, 1929 - November 23, 2020

Jeanneane (Nason) Adamini, 91, joined her beloved husband, Ray, in heaven early Monday morning, November 23, 2020. She died peacefully at her home in the care of her loving family.

Jeanneane was born on March 2, 1929 in Marquette to the late James Blaine and Marie (Hill) Nason. She grew up at the Huron Mountain Club, where her father ran the club farm. She always felt so lucky and blessed to grow up there.

Jeanneane met the love of her life, Ray, at Kelly's Slide in Negaunee, MI, when she joined the band on stage to sing "Quicksilver" and stole his heart away. She joined the band, the Hiawatha Ramblers, and fulfilled her dream of being able to make her living singing. She had the voice of an angel and her house was always filled with music.

Jeanneane never had a bad word to say about anyone. You have to "take people as they are" she'd say. One of her and Ray's greatest joys was that their family loved spending time with them. She and Ray took every opportunity to make loving memories for the family.

Jeanneane was the loving mother and friend to Karen Derenne, Mary Geron, Dan (Mary) Adamini and Gina (Robert Libick) Adamini; Gram/Grammy to Melanie (Chris) Wilson, Emily (Matt Bain) Derenne, Anton (Trudie) Derenne, Ellen (DJ) Bianchi, Samuel (Lana) Derenne, Abbigail (Matt) Johnston, Ashley (Wes Hughes) Geron and Amy (Dan) Dagenais; also 11 great-grandchildren, Jaeger, Keira, Sofia, Lilly, Charlie, William, Olivia, James, Leo, Enzo and Everly, who brought her such joy.

Due to the current situation with COVID-19, a private funeral service will be held at Canale-Tonella Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Saturday, December 5th at 12 Noon with Rev. Jeff Johnson officiating. Jeanneane's service will be live streamed however at https://my.gather.app/remember/jeanneane-adamini

"Jeanneane was a wonderful woman. She always had a smile for you and hello how are you. A very warm and kind caring lady. I loved talking with her whenever we were able to see each other . And for me , it means so much to me that she loved my son when he and Melanie got married and he became a member of her family. She reminded me so much like my mother in so may ways.
