Eva Viola Johnson
October 11, 1948 - November 22, 2020

Eva Viola Johnson, age 72, passed away November 22, 2020. She was born October 11, 1948 in Brainerd, MN to Richard and Dorothy (Anderson) Keep. The Good Lord called her home following a 9-month battle with liver failure. Eva spent her life serving her Lord and Savoir as a pastor's secretary and making quilts and knitting caps, mittens, hats, and baby blankets for the poor. An Air Force wife, Eva has also worked as an accountant, bank branch manager, and a teacher's aide for special needs students. She loved attending Omaha Symphony concerts, Opera Omaha performances, the ballet, local stage plays and high school sporting events.
Eva is survived by her husband of 41 years, David; step-daughters, Shannon Henson and Heather Bjorklund; 4 step-grandchildren, Anthony, Sierra, Caleb and Eli; mother, Dorothy Keep; sisters, Wendy Splett, Star Earle; brothers, Allen Keep and Perry Keep; as well as an army of wonderful loving friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on December 5, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Rejoice Lutheran Church at 138th and West Center Road.
