Arlene Hollaway, age 89, of Austin, Texas passed away on November 19, 2020. She was born June 14, 1931 in Langeloth, Pennsylvania to Anna and Carl Griffith. She was married to Homer Hollaway on March 7, 1953.
She lived a life of adventure and traveled as an Army wife. Her passions were family and porcelain dolls. She was retired from the Internal Revenue Service.
Arlene is survived by daughter Charlene Biemer and husband David; sons Carl Hollaway, Dale Hollaway and wife Shawn all of Austin, Texas; step-son Chuck Parker and wife Shannon of Morro Bay, California; grandchildren Julie Parsons and husband Mason, Sarah Biemer, Danielle and Joey Lopez of Austin and Larissa, Ian, Evan and Brenna Parker of Morro Bay, California; brothers Bill Griffith and wife Betty, Colby Griffith, Danny Griffith and wife Susan, and sister-in-law Nancy Griffith; sisters-in-law Bertha Thellman, Cathy Griffith, Emily Holler and husband Jim, Sandy Cauvet and husband Ken.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Anna Griffith, daughter-in-law Debbie Hollaway, brother Larry Griffith, brothers-in-law Andrew Hollaway, Henry Hollaway, William Hollaway; sisters-in-law Moynelle Kern, Mildred Piatt, Ruth Murray, and Hazel Hollaway.
