"I was lucky to experience many great moments with Nana. She was always direct, honest and firm with her actions and words. Reflecting on my younger years I was slightly intimidated by it. But as time passed I realized she cared deeply for her family. She had certain expectations and quickly voiced them. Those expectations are because she loved and cared deeply for her family. She wanted everyone to be their best version of themselves. I?m blessed to love her and be loved by her. I?m forever grateful for all the times we shared together. The knowledge and wisdom that helped me over time was rooted from her. Thank you Nana. I love you. Rest well. Nachito "

"There are no words to write express this loss. My heart is very heavy for my whole Family that I was married into and heavy for myself, there is never any words or enough to say to make any of us feel any ease with this loss or pain. She was the heart of the Family and definitely the one of the best Woman I have ever met or known, she will be greatly missed and will forever be in my heart. I will miss her eyes light up when my Husband and I would show up bearing gifts for any occasion, she loved my gifts and I loved showering her with them. I will miss giving her gifts to see the joyful light in her eyes and the smile upon her lovely face! Love you very much Nana! Love, Cheryl Hernandez, Kids and Grandkids. "
