Donna Jean Haag, 83, of Altura died Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Winona Health. Donna was born September 21, 1937 in Milwaukee, WI to Adrian and Vera (Long) VanWormer. On October 1, 1955 Donna married Doug Haag in Milwaukee. They later made their home in Altura where the couple raised their three children. Donna worked for Winona Knitting Mills, Hubbard Foods, Red's Roost and the Altura Grocery Store. Donna thrived in her role of taking care of her family. She loved to bake and cook for them. She also enjoyed reading mysteries and her puzzle books. Donna was a member of Jehovah Evangelical Lutheran Church in Altura.
Survivors include her husband, Doug, three children, Ray of Altura, Pam (Steve) Mueller of Winona and Mandi of Altura, a granddaughter, Brenda Bever and a great-granddaughter Hannah Bever. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Tiffany and her sister Glennys.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2020 at Jehovah Ev. Lutheran Church in Altura with the Reverend Michael Lindeman officiating. Burial of Donna's cremated remains will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be at the church from 2-5 p.m. Sunday and 10 - 11 a.m. Monday. Current restrictions of social distancing and facemasks are required.
