June G. Weisbrod
August 29, 1928 - November 16, 2020

A private funeral service for June will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 20, 2020, at the Lone Rock Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Fenton Township Cemetery. The funeral will be live-streamed on Oakcrest Funeral Services' Facebook Page.

June G. Weisbrod, the daughter of Harvey and Clara (Eichenberger) Rath was born August 29, 1928, in Lone Rock, IA. June lived in the Lu Verne and Lone Rock area growing up. On June 12, 1948, June was united in marriage to Maurice Weisbrod, and they were blessed to have 70 years together. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, square dancing, baking, and spending winters in McAllen, TX. Her greatest satisfaction in life was her faith and her desire to be a good wife, mother, and grandmother. June was a member of the Lone Rock Presbyterian Church and the Lone Rock American Legion Auxiliary.

June, age 92, of Lone Rock, passed away Monday, Nov. 16, 2020, at Accura Healthcare Center, Bancroft.

Left to cherish June's memory are children, Cheryl Preston of Swea City and Terry Weisbrod of Lone Rock; grandchildren, Angela (Dave) Johnson of Lone Rock, Crystal Weisbrod of Fairmont, MN, Brent Weisbrod of Lone Rock, Michael (Jennifer) Preston of Granada, MN, Laura (Joseph) Edgington of Oakdale, MN; 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, sisters, Doris Holst of Vinton, IA and Virginia (Dale) Wegener of Buckeye, AZ; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Maurice Weisbrod, brother Clinton Rath, and son-in-law Lee Preston.
