RICHLAND-Leiloni "Loni" Watson, age 64, of Richland, died Saturday, November 14, 2020, at her home.
Loni was born February 18, 1956, in Washington, the daughter of Lawrence and Catherine (Schumann) Adrian. She graduated from Keota High School in May of 1974. Two weeks later she started to work at Prairie Mutual Insurance and had been there 46 years. She received an award for 45 years of service last year. On April 19, 1980, she married Rick Watson at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Loni was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and the Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed her bridge club, wood-burning for crafts, watching movies, eating out and getting together with family and friends. She especially loved Christmas and buying gifts for family and friends.
Survivors include her husband: Rick of Richland; sisters: Janice Weber of Keota and Valerie Adrian of Keota; brother: J.P. (Laura) Adrian of Harper and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law; mother-in-law; brother-in-law: Hubert Weber and niece: Amy Frederick.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at Holy Trinity Cemeteries - Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in rural Harper. The service will be livestreamed on the Powell Funeral Home facebook page. There will be no public visitation.
A memorial fund has been established for the Richland Fire Department and Richland QRS. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota is caring for Loni and her family. Tributes may be made at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
