In loving memory of

TIMOTHY JOHN "TJ" BAKER
July 30, 1980 - November 7, 2020

Timothy John "TJ" Baker, 40, of Ishpeming, passed away, Saturday, November 7, 2020, at his home. Those who knew TJ, even just a little, lost a light in their lives. Although he left this world too soon; he left it a better place.

He was born July 30, 1980, in Marquette, a son of James A. and Kathy L. (Juntti) Baker. TJ is survived by his parents, James Baker of West Chicago, IL and Kathy (Douglas) Lewis of Florida & Texas; sister, Alison of West Chicago, IL; grandmothers, Elizabeth Juntti of Ishpeming and Lois of Marquette; Uncle Steve Juntti (Vicky Washburn ) of Champion, MI, cousin Lorissa Juntti and (Gage Laitinen) Ishpeming MI ; Aunt Connie and Uncle Fred of Marquette; Uncle Mike of Jackson MI; Aunt Mary Kay of West Virginia; many cousins and his beloved and faithful dog, Nessy. He also left behind too many friends to list. He was preceded in death by his grandfather's, John Juntti and Harry Baker.

He was raised in Roselle, IL, was a 1998 graduate of Lake Park High School in Roselle, IL and attended the University of Illinois. TJ owned and operated Root Services Landscaping for years in Florida. After selling the business in 2018, TJ returned to Ishpeming where he worked for the family business, Juntti's Service. He was a fourth-generation employee and his goal to was to carry on the Juntti business of which he was so proud. He was a member of Medina Baptist Church, enjoyed playing golf, driving wreckers, cars, boats, jet skis, snow mobiles, and anything that went fast. He was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan.

We will forever remember his fun loving, kind and selfless soul. TJ made everyone smile with his compassion and patience for helping others. We shed tears because he is gone but smile because he lived. We know he is in heaven with his beloved grandfathers and know they are always with us. Our hearts are shattered because we can't see him but they are full of the love and memories we shared with him.
There will be no services at this time.
