"Lori was the first friend I made after moving to Phoenix nearly 30 years ago. We became fast friends and had so much in common with our love of animals, The Eagles band, laughter and easy going nature. I miss her greatly and know I always will, we had so much more to do! My most sincere condolences to the Westerkamp family and Lori\'s friends. She was dearly loved and never met a stranger! Fly with the Angels my friend. I will love you always ~ Amanda Crossland"

A Facebook friend. wrote on Nov 14, 2020:
"We never met in person, but had plans to.
Lori and I met on Facebook almost four years ago. After one of her posts about where she lived in the seventies, I asked her if she knew my daughter at Sunnyslope
High School? She didn?t as she was a few years younger. Later, when I posted from the ICU at John C Lincoln Hospital, Lori sent me best wishes and that I was in her prayers. Even though I?m old enough to be her mother, we became Facebook friends, sharing our love for animals (especially
Tuxedo kitty cats) our love of our country and so many things. I was hospitalized a few times and Lori always sent me cheerful messages. We talked a lot about how this lockdown kept her from seeing her Mom. She never shared with me that she was ill. Her passing has saddened me more than I can say. I will ll miss my dear FB friend . "
