Cody Christopher Michael Stewart was born in Fullerton, CA on October 9th - his mother's birthday - in 1998. He was senselessly murdered on October 30, 2020. Cody attended local Whittier schools, played baseball with Murphy Ranch Little League, was a member of Cub and Boy Scout Troops and St. Bruno Catholic Church. In 2017 he graduated from La Serna High School where he lettered in football and baseball. He attended Fullerton College and George Fox University and was the Head Coach of the Bassett High School Varsity baseball team. Cody was intensely ambitious and had such a promising future. Although physically powerful, he was gentle, compassionate, full of life and loved by everyone who ever knew him. His dazzling smile could light up any room. He was adventurous, loved to travel and spend time with his family and friends. Cody's spirit lives on in the hearts of his parents, Lauren and John Stewart, brother, Chase, grandparents, American and Canadian relatives, and his multitude of friends. The outpouring of sympathy and support from family, friends and community is proof of love and source of hope.
