Tonja Lynn Hankins, age 47, of Liberty, died on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at 4:48 am in St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.
Tonja was born September 1, 1973 in Quincy, a daughter of Larry John and Judy Ann Mast Hankins.
Tonja spent ten years living in Lake of the Ozarks, MO, where she enjoyed swimming and being in the beauty of the outdoors. Tonja also loved animals and anything that had to do with Marilyn Monroe. Most of all, Tonja loved being with her grandbabies, who were the joys of her life.
She worked at Blessing Hospital, where she was employed as a phlebotomist for 12 years.
Survivors include two children: Jeremiah Martin of Quincy; and Tiffiani (John) Schenk of Plainville, IL; two grandchildren: Dawson Schenk and Mollie Martin; her mother, Judy Ann Hankins of Liberty; two sisters: Rhonda Law and Kim (Jeff) Brown, both of Liberty; twin uncles, Harold and Gerald Mast of Burton, IL; an aunt, Andy Mast of Metropolis, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tonja was preceded in death by her father and her high school sweetheart, Jason Martin.
Services: Tonja has been cremated. No services are planned at this time.
